Events:
We will be hosting our
annual Maple Fest breakfasts two weekends in March. They will be
on March 20th & 21st. And on March 27th & 28th. I will
post the times when we decide on them. They are ALL YOU
CAN EAT, eggs, pancakes, sausage, and bacon. Hope to see you all
there !! While here please visit the Maple Glen Sugar
House on Gowanda Zoar Road and see where maple syrup comes from, and what
they can do with it besides making syrup.
UPDATE 9-5-2009
We had our first test
of our new building. What with the flooding in the village, a command post was
set up here. The Salvation Army was stationed here also. They made meals, served
the workers, and anyone that came. They did a fantastic job. Hats off to the
Salvation Army. Another unit that was stationed here was the Helping Hands. They
also did a great job co-ordinating volunteers to help the flood victims with
cleanup. Hats off also to them. And a SPECIAL
thank you to all the volunteers that came to Gowanda to help in any way. You
were GREAT.
