UPDATE 9-5-2009
We had our first test of our new building. What with the flooding
in the village, a command post was set up here. The Salvation Army was stationed
here also. They made meals, served the workers, and anyone that came. They did a
fantastic job. Hats off to the Salvation Army. Another unit that was stationed
here was the Helping Hands. They also did a great job co-ordinating volunteers
to help the flood victims with cleanup. Hats off also to them. And a SPECIAL thank you to all the volunteers that came to
Gowanda to help in any way. You were GREAT.
